Oxford St Market is half way through its first season and the furture is looking bright!
Friday, 30 January 2009
Today we have had another editorial which has been featured in the Habitat section of the West Australian, which adds to the encouraging editorials we have received in the last two months from The Sunday Times, X-press, The Guardian, and Perth Voice. Along with this, the blog and website adds from www.frankie.com.au, www.winifredandbance.com, www.www.madeontheleft.com, and all the others have made a huge difference in helping spread the word. Then there is our own website www.oxfordstmarket.com.au which has been completed and will continued to be updated as more and more exhibit at the market. Then last but not least the addition of the bimonthly Lindy in the Park, which is hosted by Swingzing www.swingzing.com has added so much to the vibe, and I cant wait for the next one on the 7th.
The last few weeks have brought The Oxford St Market to a new level, and now that its halfway through its first season, I feel like celebrating. Well timed too, has been the announcement of a fantastic party at the Bakery tomorrow night, where Crazy P have been added to the bill of Norman J, The Sunshine Brothers, and Charlie Bucket, for one big party. This feels like the right place to celebrate, as Artrage's venue at the Bakery supports so many of our local artist, and Think Twice who are behind orgainizing this party are dedicated to bringing great affordable entertainment to us all. So lets get together people, support whats happening in Perth, and party! Tix $35
